The Evolution of The Wolf was inspired by the author's several dozen readings of The Three Little Pigs to his son. After listening joyfully to his toddler's giggles, Dad asks himself three questions:
What happens to a Wolf who is humiliated, hungry, and obsessed over the thought of revenge? What happens if the monster isn't really so bad, but has a lot of growing up to do?
Can a wolf who is acting on the most basic of instincts experience a deeper level of being that includes consciousness, wisdom, and compassion? In The Evolution of The Wolf, the monster becomes the hero when fate dawns one morning and brings surprises that the Wolf could never have dreamed of.
Through the adventure of new experiences, meeting new characters, and being reunited with old foes, the Wolf learns lessons about himself and of life.
